Two Worlds Divided.

Two Worlds Divided.

A Poem by Julia

She wrapped herself in the memories that lingered.

He only longed to be there with her.

Struggling to hold on, she promised to wait.

Only so sure that it was their fate.

Hurting her, he knew he was,

But looking at himself in the mirror he saw no one.

No one, but a monster, whom destroyed her soul,

But all she could do was declare he made her whole.

She’d never give up, they both knew.

She was stubborn, but swore she’d see it through.

See it through to the very end.

See to the day where her heart would mend.

He longed for her to be joyful,

She longed for her world to be colorful.

Because stuck in the cold, all she saw was the colorless theme.

They needed to be one, they were a team.

Love was only an understatement for how they felt.

Because joined together, was where their hearts would melt.

Because what was worth having, was worth waiting for,

She waited for the day when he came, and the pain was no more.

The day where two worlds collided,

And two souls would no longer be divided.

I really liked this poem. I love how everything just flowed and it all went together very well. The only thing that bothered me was how much you used the word "because." You used it in 3 stanzas back to back and it started to sound kind of wierd. Maybe if you replaced a "because" it would sound a little better. Other than that...I loved this poem! :)
