Thank You

This poem is basically a thank you note to an ex. If I hadn�t fallen in love to begin with then I would have never started writing again. Even when I feel like I have nothing I still have my writing.

It was an outlet for me
To express the things
You would never see
How your words made me melt
And your smile made me blush

It was something you brought out
You taught me more about myself
Showed me it was ok to love
To trust you with everything
Give you my all

It's something you can never take back
Something I can never give up
It's everything that keeps me sane
Allows me to breathe
Exhale every bad thing you left behind

Thank you for that
I appreciate it
More then you can ever know
With this pen I'll recreate myself
Better then the day we said hello
