love is difficult;
i fear loss, heartbreak
isn't it easier to not care?
but oh, i would know
how lonely it feels
to shut the world away

please forgive me;
i make mistakes, over and over

isn't it sad, how lost i've been
trapped in doubts and misery

darling, know that i'm trying;
but loving you is not easy
recovery and forgiveness is not fast--
sometimes the road seems too long

if anything is worth the sorrow

or how i still have fight;
