Girls need dads too

Girls need dads too

A Poem by Kitty Karr

Two fathers lost,

Too Young to remember.

The first one on,

A cold night in November.

The second one on,

A warm night in June.

Such a young girl,

Forced to grow up too soon

To young to understand.

To young for such heartache.

Both within a few years.

How much can one girl Take?

Very few memories,

Even fewer are good.

Have much more stress,

Than any kid should.

Why me?

What did I do?

Why was I chosen,

To live a life so blue?

No one to blame.

No dad to look to.

Just be glad,

This little girl isnt you.

Oh my, this is tragic. :( If this is based on a true event, than I am deeply sorry for you, yet glad that you are able to express your sorrow so beautifully with words. :)

Kitty, this poem opens up doors to emotions yet to be unfolded in so many ways... It's amazing. The heartfelt tears wept for both daddy's are well worded by you in this beautiful poem, wonderful job. keep writing.
