Addicted To????

 

I have this disgraceful addiction

To combat my anguish and pain

I don’t believe it a bad affliction

Sometimes it will keep me sane

 

Starting with the tiniest thought

From a spark beyond my control

I have the answer which I sought

When the shoulders begin to roll

 

How I love to have a good giggle

Either orated or in written word

I enjoy as I squirm and I squiggle

To anything that may be absurd

 

I find humour in most situations

I will usually inject a small twist

Hilarity has many permutations

Only fools think it may not exist

 

I can INJECT a second of laughter

I can DRAW a smile from the sad

I can SNIFF a pun from the rafter

And INHALE the fun that I’ve had

 

My addiction may be contagious

It depends on your state of mind

Some may think it is outrageous

But it’s the best drug we can find

Yaya!!!!! I think you have ht it right on the head here. Laughter is definately the best medicine and to be able to create such fun for others to laugh at is special.
This was a delight with such a simplistic and very funfilled flow that brought a smile from me the moment I started to read.
