The Perfect OccupationA Poem by brandubhI would like to be a Chocolatier I think I have what it takes This type of job appeals to me Where I can eat my own mistakes
The basic ingredients are edible Cooking textures may cause concern I may not make the perfect shapes But I am sure that I can learn
I would mix, melt and experiment In a quest to get my techniques right But I suspect I would only end up With trouser waistbands getting tight
Perhaps it’s just a pipedream (I would eat more than I could sell) So, it’s better that this type of job Is left to those who can do it well
What shape is an ideal chocolatier? Are they slim or slightly round? Are the slightly round still practising? Have the slim ones, perfection found?
I don’t suppose that it really matters The girth of a chocolatiers waist The proof is always in the scoffing Of their chocolate with its yummy taste © 2015 brandubh |
