obfuscating the skyline
as effectually

as the distant mountain tops
they seem to preclude with size

I have recently taken up a great appreciation and love for the Japanese tanka, traditionally a 5-7-5-7-7 syllable structure, it is similar to the well-known haiku. This is one I wrote on a recent trip to Seattle.
