Storm

Storm

A Poem by Brandi A. Milhorn

Rain drops kiss my skin.

Love the way it feels;

this sensation.

Light,

wet,

cool and refreshing.

It causes me to feel

such an ardor,

thrilling me like no other.

The sky fills with clouds of gray,

driving out every sun ray.

It began as a mist,

a lover’s gentle kiss,

but now it pours,

the thunder roars!

I am captured in a maelstrom,

but I feel such a sense of freedom!

I am drenched,

saturated in this storm,

but I am loving every minute of

it.

Don’t want it to ever quit!
