Conflict of InterestA Poem by Brandee D. HackSuch a long conversation and thoughts brought this on...not sure what to make of it yet...A light of dew the drop of night oh mystic stars they shine so bright. Whispers clear and the door swings I'm bent and bound wrapped in these strings. I long to hear love i hold it in my hands I kiss it every morn' Then lie away in bed ruled, battered and torn. It's harsh what reality shows none at all can prepare for anything can happen some you cannot bear. Though hold up your skirts for young women of't not and sing the tunes of olde and pine for those lost. Waste not time thinking but spin around at will dance every moment like your last will. Rejoice in love regardless of conflict yet admire the quality and love given anon! It comes only once the romance of olde It is kept a secret brave, yet bold. None ever trek too far afraid of the cold Yet those with bravery are on reward for bold. Any can venture but few can find the love buried deep within trees intertwined. Often it is found but lost like a key left under the bed and never set free.
