Silent Fall

Silent Fall

A Poem by Brandee D. Hack
"

Simple.

"
-Our arms opening,
a tight embrace.
I wonder if we
will ever face?

His sweet aroma
feels the air.
It whisps around
without a care.

Simple, sweet -
and to the point.
His hand spiral down
no warning - no force.

-Whispers- in my ear,
oft and sweet.
It is a wonder
we ever speak.

Skin so soft
words held dear.
Under those stars
we always meet.

Eyes like fire,
hands spread out.
Do you ever wonder
why words come out?

The touch.
So brief. No words -
No sounds. The heartbeat -
The silence. A joyous sound.

Yet in youth
one forgets.
Passion isn't all. It's words collect,
they break the fall.

A beautiful and sensitive poem. I like the days when a tender touch could spark happiness and joy. I like the pace and the ending to the amazing poem. Thank you.
