Stained Tears

Stained Tears

A Poem by Brandee D. Hack
"

In memory of 4pm EST today.

"
The dry rain commences and my heart now blue.
The tears pour down just for you.

I lost you today and I'll never get you back
why did the railroad hit this track?

I thought it was okay and we could last
but the moment I heard silence cast...

All I could do was think about the rain
yearning for more and losing again.

I love you, I do. Simple you see?
But I know you see me quite differently.

I'm drowning in this pool of tears
drowning and enveloped in all these fears.

They've came true and now you are lost,
in Davy Jones locker, forever tossed?

But I hope to find you one day soon
bring you back to where happiness looms.

But now I return to the tub I found
full of blood, tears, the lost but not found.

A lovely, powerful poem.
I pretty much liked the rhyme play in this.

A powerful poem. The feeling of sadness of losing someone at the beginning. I like the next lines. Sort of a twist with words. Made me think. A excellent poem.
