Swirling TeaA Poem by Brandee D. Hack
The swirling tea steams off the stove,
I wonder what the Irish thought here. They mix their tea with milk and sugar, and one more thing that other's discover. They add a decadent taste like none can find. It swirls with steam as the milk swirls round. Then last that's mixed is a sweet perfume. A glorious flavour of alcohol to be sure. They add a small touch, one can adore. My final lullaby subsides and I add some Bailey's -- ...a final stride.
