A Priestly Mess

A Priestly Mess

A Poem by Brandee D. Hack
"

A rendition of my Uncle.

"
Just like old times
I smell tobacco on you.
Your shirt so simple
and you so strong.

Then it happens.
We fight and you,
YOU do not listen.
You falter here.

I have changed.
I found my peace.
Beyond those wall,
beyond your sea's.

What brotherly love,
I though I once had.
Has turned into shambles...
A glass chandelier; broken.
