Earth or Fire?

A tragic and compelling complexity of desire and hearts.

 A heart of two halves, which never ends.

It brings a glazed storm around the bend.

 

 

Earth shows me it's care,

Wraps me with joy.

I try not to share,

Yet with him I can't compare.

 

The glorious warmth I feel on my skin,

It makes me see fire once more.

I've never had so many grins,

He warms me to the core.

 

Yet there's Fire whom shows me,

 A light so deep.

It's been hidden within me,

A secret I'd keep.

Yet then I met him.

I had no reason to hide.

I knew that the fire's rim,

would be by my side.

This Earth and Fire mix well sometimes,

but in the case of this a tragic tale meets.

With but one tale of storms and dance,

The Earth has died down and Fire is my trance.

Yet what shall I do, pick Earth or Fire?

Which one is my heart's desire?

I've always enjoyed a bit of color to set ideas apart from each other.
Earth and Fire....a combination that oft time can clash. I'd say a mix for
passion. I like the contrasts, comparisons and all the possibilities.
It's good when someone can light the fire. Nice written.

Very good word play though out this scribe... the presentation of colour added magick to it! Passion burning and seducing in the flames.. colours of desire. Enjoyed this spill of yours, excellent!
