A TAO for the West

This is a poem I did inspired by the Tao-Te-Ching.

The spirit of East and West is Tao.

The Tao sustains the soul of the USA.

Canada takes refuge in the Tao.

The Tao unites Canada and the USA.

The Tao is like a mother:

always present and loving.

The Tao is like a father:

leading by example and deeds.

The Tao leads with grace:

following the light of compassion.

The Tao gives success to others,

knowing this is true leadership.
