Unfold

Unfold

A Poem by Screaming Soul

Unfold

Is there room for me?

Unfold and let me in, please.

Not to die away

But to live in a cocoon where

No dread of ruling

Nor proof of worth exists.

I have a feeling you have a place

Of salubrious peace…. Shhhhhh…

I can almost see the colors of love

And taste the velvety cream of quiet

And hear the purring of your serenity.

I feel the strength of your gentleness.

Let me in.  Just once.  Let me in.
