Where is your Heart?

Where is your Heart?

A Poem by Screaming Soul

Where is your Heart?

Where is your heart?

Keeping it in winter’s chill

With iced chilling winds

As For me " you cannot kill

Above the depths

I rise, not answering the abyss

Whose call is constant

And whose meeting I will miss

Since my psyche had not known

I entered her nadir

I attached to its morbidity

Because my soul belonged there

No, you now cannot kill me

Nor my presence nor light

For I am drawn to find the good

Which I no more will fight

Divine beauty is in within you

No matter what you say

I know for I have seen and felt it

Even when you try to go away.
