I Breathe OutA Poem by Screaming SoulI Breathe Out I breathe out, I breathe in. Addressing the grey ribbon unfolding. One foot, then the next. The environment envelopes me As the curtain opens And I am lost in its messages. Light contact with humanity, I ask “Why are they here?” Or perhaps, no meeting while Protected inside their covering. I’m invited by my own thoughts. The path meets me where I am And leads my direction Or I meet the trail where it is And explore new senses. I breathe in, I breathe out. Leaving the ribbon’s gentle turns, Waiting for my return another day. © 2012 Screaming Soul |
