Of Life and DeathA Poem by boyinblue
And I heard him say,
"If all we fear in life derives from experiencing said events, then it is logical to fear poverty, for we shall experience it's scarceness, so too must we fear pain, for it will always be unpleasant. Fear anger, for it can change your soul, fear love, for it may clutter the mind. But death? If all we fear is the experience of events, the consequences of self defined failures, then there is no need to fear death, for the one who is dieing will never experience his own death, death lacks experience, nor poverty or pain or love, never fear death like all the above." © 2010 boyinblue |
