my bones are old and grey

like the earth they layeth within

but my soul is thin and blue

as the sky it flyith through

if life is long and gay

like songs we rest upon

and love is young and true

then more than anyplace

i'd rather be with you.

if time is harsh and slow

and none know where it begin

then bury me long and low

but keep the secrets in

if dreams are soft and cold

and come to us with song

bury me in silence

before the day is long

and more than any place

bury me with you.

Read it a few times now and and I totally love the flow and the tempo, it reads so well and is so deep. A bit unexpected, as to the feelings you express here knowing you as I do (took me by surprise!), or perhaps its poetic imagination or its your irrational less pragmatic subconscious speaking lol.
