Judgement

Judgement

A Chapter by Rosalie Santerino
"

Imagine a landing ...

"

Think of judgement day as a landing

Where side by side two doors are standing

In the first a fire is forever burning

Kindled by human yearning

The cries of the dead come from within

Those who won’t repent there sin

In the other angels are singing

The praises of god forever ringing

At the end the city of gold

No pain, suffering or growing old

This is the place of paradise

Home to the tree of life

In both of the doors a guards in sight

One in black and the other all in white

The first to punish those who won’t repent

And completely ignored the message God sent

The second is to reward the righteous and good

Those who’ve repented and done what they should

Which of the doors, where will you go?

Red as blood or white as snow

Turn around before it’s too late

Head towards the heavenly gate

Remember now of those two doors

Which is yours?
