A River Afternoon

A River Afternoon

A Chapter by Renée

Birds flickering here and there
chattering their news..
I have a worm,
I have a grub,
Hey gang, heres one for you !
River running lazy
strolling by my eyes..
Desert cool and hazy
like morning sleepy eyes
Brush against the landscape
the only show of green..
Purple jagged mountains
all here is serene..

I love the rhythm to this... And the pictures that are flowing through my mind... So peaceful; sounds like you had fun writing this.
