Those ten words captured the season well. Ten word poem that I've read almost ten times by now. Good use of abstract imagery. The best part is the poem actually creates the feel of the season and (i don't know if i put it right but that's how i feel) gives it a soul, not to mention depth.

This definitely expresses the slow, slumberous (not sure if that's a word but it fits my purposes) feeling of this cold season, with a falling format to mimic the falling of snow, and words like "frozen" and "crystallized" which pull together the ideas of winter, leaving a patient, almost peaceful feeling. I do love winter, and I believe you've captured it quite well for just ten words. Simply lovely my friend

Glad to hear I'm not alone in feeling the warmth of winter.
There is an excellent link between "frozen" and "crystallised". I think the triplet to make up the family is 'idly'. There is a feeling of the weight of the snow, here; and the indolence of winter's slumber.
The 'awaiting Destiny's call" looks forward to transition. This caps the piece off wonderfully.
