Another random love poem I wrote early in the morning when I couldn't sleep

Hello there and how are you

I see you’re feeling blue too

 

You say you’ve been hurt in the past

How about we give it one last try and make it last

 

Lets take a walk in the rain

As it washes away the pain

 

I’ll be your best friend if you’ll be mine

Don’t you know that all wounds heal with time

 

Gazing at the stars

We’ll forget the scars

 

Kiss me now and kiss me true

Could you ever love me as I love you?

 

I may not be pretty not even the best

But I will prove to you I’m not like the rest

 

Hold me close with every embrace

In my heart you will always have a place

 

Know that you are never alone

With you I am home

 

What once was lost has been found

Because it is to you that I am bound

 

Take my hand and together we will heal

And I will show you how true love really feels
