Once I had ulcersA Poem by Bookmanpcthere will be new stuff soon.
Once I had ulcers…
From keeping it all inside, My true feelings I did hide.
Once I had ulcers…
I worked most of the hours of the day, Thinking to earn myself praise And a partner along the way.
Once I had ulcers…
And was a 'convenient' macho man, Full of keeping it all in, And going along with others plans.
Once I had ulcers…
Then slowly did I see, That attitude though important SHOULD be decided just by me.
Once I had ulcers…
Those that will tell you to "grow up" And learn to play along Do not have your interests in mind.
Once I had ulcers… No more, for I've learned sometimes to cry, living on the outside, for me first and Not blindly accepting the slights of goodbye.
