Exploring World, Exploring SelfA Poem by boobalajcushionI have been travelling a lot this past year, and I recently ended up in Bali for one reason or other. I had a lot to think over.Exploring World, Exploring Self I have had the Balinese rain on my lips, Taken from it honeyed sips. Felt the warm air brush over my skin and Explored paths of the mind I never planned. How can it be? That something so simple, so free As your thoughts can alter reality? As I gaze up through the trees, I think the branches are like arteries. Pumping life into the universe And inspiring thoughts of self worth. For who are we to judge beauty? It is not perfection, it is not lust. It is not a body, a bust. It is life, it is our lungs. It is our sight, our touch. Back to basics, simplicity. Earth, mind, love.
