The wind was blowing in from the north, bringing a chill to her face and memories of old activities. She waited for him to say something as they stood, staring at each other from opposite sides of the sidewalk. The occasional burdened mother with a screaming child in tow or the leaves scraping across the textured tile drew their eye, but only for the smallest fraction of a second. She brought her chin to her right shoulder, stretching her neck and searching for the reason of why she came here to meet him. He stood motionless, unblinking, as every moment they had ever shared together flashed in front of his eyes, like a movie on fast-forward; she was right there, all he had to do was take one step forward, show one sign of acceptance. A crowd of bustling shoppers, wrapped up tight in scarves and coats, hurried along the sidewalk, but the numbers seemed endless. Every so often, they would catch each others eyes, and then it was lost again, The wind blew again, blowing her amber hair into her eyes. She wondered if he would move, if he would come forward, push the hair out of his eyes and pull her into his warm body, but he just stood there, motionless.
His movie ended and all he could see was her, standing feet away from him; he began to push through the crowd. He clobbered to the other side of the road and reached out for her cheek, waiting, feeling the warmth of her cheek, but she was gone, just like that last night in September.
Sometimes, the heart don't seem to choose what it has to do. It gets lost somewhere around the ecstasy of predispositions, no matter what. And.. before it yearns to get what it needs to be motionless, the time runs away off life & the moments go lost into the winds... waving along fleecy clouds. What a beautiful imagery you've pen'd up! Today, am just seemed to be having a great pleasure to time with some.. or many of your earlier stuffs. Quite interesting! You know what, love has no language but it knows how to speak & listen to well through heart. You bake a good stuff here!

So when you commented, I got to reread it like I was reading someone else's writing which was cool, and now I have revisions I might make. I'm glad you're enjoying my old writing- there's some good stuff, some not so good stuff. Thanks for reading and sharing your thoughts :)
