Prologue

Imagine that you are a typical high school girl: best friends, no friends, and boyfriends. Now imagine that you walk into your first class on the first day if the new semester, and you see this girl. You get a warm fuzzy feeling inside and you know why that means, but you won't accept it. You won't accept it because your whole life you've believed that you were just like the majority. Then you realize she's staring at you, but when she sees that you notice she turns back to the board. Holocaust Studies... You lose focus on the class as you stare at the back of her head. You can't figure out what to do. Could you possibly have a crush? Could you really think she's prettier than just a friend? But the underlying question that burns in your heart, tingles your brain, itches under your skin: could you be in love?
