Greatness

these are just my own thoughts.. just thinking out loud ;) :D

What is a meaning of a great man or great women?
We read books about great people found in histories and books,
We admire there greatness and tell people among us:
"oh.. look at him or her.. we will never find people like them again"

yet we fail to acknowledge that we find great people around us all the time,
yes every man or women has his weakness.. but as humans we all have weaknesses,
you can not compare yourself to someone in the past.. because they are unique in their own qualities and you are unique in your own qualities.

You will not find a perfect man because he does not exist in our times,
You will not find a perfect women either because she does not exist in our times either,

for me.. the perfect man has always been our Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) whom I admire from the bottom of my heart and learn his teachings.. which give me inner strength unequal to many other great leaders... as well.. i consider him the perfect leader in many many fields and areas.. such as perfect husband, perfect religious leader, perfect personalities, perfect warrior, perfect teacher and perfect in many other things MashAllah. I also consider Islam as perfect religion but it is not for me to tell you.. but for you to find out yourself... but I will not say other religions are not perfect.. it is just that through out the time.. people seem to change the original message and lost many good things in there religion or culture.. while islam still holds firm to the original message and you can see many great qualities embedded in this great religion. MashAllah :)

all times are great times.. all people are great people.. and all places are great places to live..
as humans.. we need to stop complaining about perfect and realize that perfection does not exist.
you were not born to be perfect or find perfect people or jobs around you.. but these imperfect people have qualities or attributes which make them unique and that is why you love him or her... because of there qualities

the biggest difference between a great person and not so great person is the vision he sees with:

a great person looks with wide vision and he tries to see the future, present and past together,
he respects all people, all nationalities and all cultures,
he tries to complain the minimum as possible and tries his best to live in this world happily.
etc...

but someone who has a narrow vision doesn't seem to understand many things in life.. and he or she complains about life, culture, religion, job, family, friends and etc..

i don't know if i am a great person.. because regardless how many good things you see in me.. i will always find something wrong in me and I will proof you that I am not a great person. :D and I would be proud of my weaknesses.. because these weakness make me stronger and these weaknesses protect me :) MashAllah :D

my point in this note is to show you.. you are a great person regardless who you are.. but if you ever look with a narrow vision.. then please change that to a wider vision... and don't complain about a perfect boyfriend or girlfriend, husband or wife, mother or father, job or career.. because life is like a journey and if you are struggling then your struggle will soon be over.. and if you are waiting for something special to happen.. then it will come to happen if it is written.. but you have to make it through each day and inshAllah you will get what you need :) Ameen
