Where once you sleptA Poem by Bob SherunkleHave to stop losing girfriends!
Tear stain branded on the pillowcase,
A smear of mascarra drawn down. Where you once slept. Vague smell of your scent languishes and floats, like a cloud, lost and turning darker by the minute. I still see you lying there half asleep, half smiling. Eyes aching to open, the sunlight winning the battle, for you to keep them shut, tight.
