From My Veins

From My Veins

A Poem by ?uestion

Ink spills to the page,
From my veins to her eyes,
Fresh wounds from my mind,
Smiling as my fingers go numb,
The loss of blood killing me,
But I will persevere,
So that she may find beauty,
The beauty within me,
The beauty within the world,
Does she understand,
Of course not,
What matters is that she can see,
And maybe that one day,
She may also learn.

I can say that to this day I still think she doesn't understand.
