My Love For You

This is a poem I wrote some time ago. It's one of the first 2 I had written. I hope you like it.

I’m crying for freedom,

Crying for you,

I need to wait,

For this to be true.

 

I hope you understand,

This force I need to withstand,

This love I need to control,

For me to reach my goal.

 

My thoughts are lost,

In those beautiful eyes,

My pain is the cost,

Of my heart’s disguise.

 

I try to be strong,

For you so come along,

And no I’m not wrong

As to where I belong.

 

That’s in your heart,

It’s a new start,

Where feelings grew,

And people knew

 

All along,

That we were meant to be,

Sing me a song,

Make our minds agree

 

On this one thing,

Our love is true,

With silver wings,

Together we flew.

 

Keep me close,

In your arms,

Hold my hands,

Keep me safe.

 

They say missing,

Is a way of loving,

Then take my heart,

Cause we can’t be apart.
