divided attention, devoted hunger

divided attention, devoted hunger

A Poem by ashley

savouring the limerence of your lust, mistaking it for love.

letting your shadow stretch over me, and calling it devotion.

offering my softness to a mouth that only knows hunger.

swallowing the ache of dependancy and calling it a meal,

knowing it's large enough to feed me for weeks.
