she never could've know

she never could've know

A Poem by ashley

if i was never opened up to such a world of hatred,

would i go to hell?

how am i meant to know whats good and bad,

if both just come natural?

what does death mean to a woman,

who doesn't even know what death is?

she didn't know the weight of it all.

how was she meant to know not to eat the apple?

you considered the consequences,

sin wasn't apparent before your actions.

how are you meant to understand the weight of sin if it wasn't yet there?

if you hadn't shown up that day

would you still make the same mistake?

but she never could've known,

she never could've known what would happen.

she didn't know the weight of that fated day.

how was she meant to know all of this?

is it really her fault?

was she asking for it?

or did she just not understand?

I loved how well you were able to reflect every moment of overthinking that went through your mind. And you are right about everything you said, it really made me think about...

Really, how would she know?

I beg you to continue writing about religious issues and to continue to attune ourselves to one another. keep sync.
When God created you, He(might be She, lets write something about it :D) added extra creativity and beauty to you.
