shattered me

shattered me

A Poem by ashley

i don't want to think about it.

i don't know how you CAN think about it.

if i put another moment into thinking about you,

i think i'll lose myself again.

its just myself in my own arms,

my own hands to caress my face.

holding on to nothing beautiful,

its shattering,

cutting into my skin.

now a missing piece of myself,

a void in my soul,

the broken sheath of my heart,

raw for you to hold.

Dear Ashley,
oh wow, very profound, void is a hard ball,
I felt it, so, mutual in incronocity, great read!
