we never really said goodbye,

we just ended.

in my dreams i hold you tighter,

its the only chance ill ever have from now on.

i’m not sure why i’m still hoping.

you’re still breaking my heart and you don’t even know it.

i'd choose you forever,

in all of the different universes.

i always hope that you miss me.

i wonder if you think of me sometimes,

i wonder if you feel urged to say anything to me.

my days are spent reminding myself that you don’t care about me like you used to,

but my nights are spent dreaming that you still do.

i wonder what its like to meet my eyes on your end,

because from mine its a mixture of pain and bliss.

we’re older now,

getting older,

and i’ll miss you forever. 

but just because we aren’t together,

doesn’t mean i don’t love you.

i can’t keep what wont stay,

but even when you leave my love will linger.

i waited so long bur you never came.
