Heart Jump

Heart Jump

A Poem by bobby
"

The funny sounds we make when we are in love

"

HEART JUMP

Does love have an epithet sweet and pure?

Like honey, or come here my sweetheart

Does it mean you are my beloved dear?

(Boo boo, Baby, love muffin, cuddle boy)

The sound of it cures the ill of common pain

Refreshes the heart its dull weathered fame

Upon hearing the heart jumps a beat or two

We look for it around the corners in our view

The melodious whispers of our lovers plying

Would not be lying, for it is not meant so

Darling words, coy and toying, playful sowing

For more is meant the kiss after such nothings

i wonder, since kiss is saved for the last line, that maybe the kiss is sometimes left out of reach and one might feel the way one does in all that precedes it in this poem. that there is as a result of words, wanting. and that only if wanting is rewarded is there any sense and reason. (sorry for my thought process). then this is really quite a wonderful poem. thanks.

I like this soft and very forward piece a lot. There is something strangely unique about it as well. Thank you for the read request. And well done!

Words of endearment, the names we call each other. Oh yes! They are exquisitely special. I call my love "My Heart" problem is when I dedicate a poem to this person on here some think I am dedicating it to myself. LOL! Awesome piece.
