A Thousand FacesA Poem by bobbyIn my minds eye I see dimly the things I once believedMy memories are like shattered bits of glass Recurring in pieces, rifts of land locked time As my days slide in and out against the deep To edges of my mind’s eye in silent particles Drifting back to sea again taking grains of me A thousand faces in my memories fly away I can hear their voices like silent murmurs A chiding vaporous echo screams if you will Neither friend nor foe only lonely chattering My optic nerve is a spiraling wormhole of sort Offering glimpses of the past I've forgotten © 2011 bobbyFeatured Review
