ALONE I SIT

ALONE I SIT

A Poem by bobby
"

Love comes and goes like time

"

Alone I sit, my mind it melts

Feelings I knew are lost I felt

Better times when love was met

We'd run the sand just to get wet

I’d take her hands palms entwine

Bread and cheese a splash of wine

Fires lit amour’s spitting flames

Meeting minds there were no games

Good times go fast, time won’t last

Drinking now from a broken flask

And if what was meant is not to be

Let go my heart let it be set free
