Don't Kiss Me

Don't Kiss Me

A Poem by bobby

My pain is as if I’m swallowing chains

Small anchors grind down my throat

Into an emotional abyss of dark wine

Drunk in life stumbling side to side

I trip over my tongue and bite my lips

Slicing cold remarks cutting soft and deep

With missing teeth I spit out my rebukes

My heart is strapped in barb wire ribbons

Dead kisses strangle me with sorrow

Some incredible lines here.............dead kisses strangle me with sorrow. The horrifying pain of heartbreak.......penned so well.

You are a fantastic writer, and I look forward to everything you write. I am slightly on the jealous side, I do envy your talent, but I am drawn in my your poetry, which makes up for that.
