Robin Williams Poem

Robin Williams Poem

A Poem by bobby
"

Our hearts have lost a great light!

"

Robin Williams poem

Grief is a prisoner buried under the bed

Sadness is a monster hiding in your head

Tears that flow dry up over the years

The pain death leaves no one can bear

Gone today, forever, tomorrow’s green

Yesterday’s wrongs aren’t what they seem

Past sins we forgive like skipping stones

But the empty embrace can’t be atoned

And the laughter that once fell from lips

Turn into the bitter tears our hearts grip

Today we close shutters and pull the shades

We pray and thank God for the love he’s made

Knowing the love we share is better than wealth

For richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health
