talking; laughing; living;

just being.

when living together was a difficult feat

and becoming a mother was out of arm’s reach.

fussing; fighting; arguing;

when "we" would hurt me

calling; creeping; cheating;

just being.

just being you.

you; me; and she;

hell no I don’t miss it!

when you gave me grief

pulled me away from being me

sneaking; seeking; reaching;

just being.

just being something outside of me

when you gave me peace

took part in the creation of the woman you now see

pushing; screaming; giving;

us.

when one day I’ll be able to say

I raised that child from the time she was a day

teaching; nurturing; loving;

your mother; unconditional lover; friend

until your 2 turns to 3 again.
