Clair De LuneA Poem by Brittany DefrancoA poem I made listening to the piano music of "Clair De Lune"Reflection by moonlight On the ocean waters Makes me relax on this night Only in stolen moments, Do I breathe in the life around me. If I hold the lock on my heart, Then you hold the keys, Unlocking which no one else can see, You can release the chains on me, Only by moonlight, can I show my true nature. This night is like no other, Winds blew from the ocean, Making me want to waltz with you If only I knew, That the moonlight was our spotlight. Can you keep a secret? Not a whisper of this, For I mysteriously desire for nights like this, Where no one can see you for who you really are, Your lips seal my promise with a kiss.
