Grandfather's Farm

A Stardew Valley game poem

Grandfather left me a farm,

Such beauty in the country side,

Fresh air,

Greenery everywhere you look,

Time to start my new life,

As the farmer I was meant to be.

New faces,

New lifestyle,

Selling whatever I harvest,

Adventures in the mines,

Romance beautiful young women and men,

Yeah, this is the life for me.

Feed the livestock,

Harvest the crops,

Battle the monsters,

Mine the ore,

Fish at the lake,

So much to do

Years to come by.

Marry the person I was meant to be with,

Build our dream house,

Have the family we always wanted,

Life is good, making this town a better place,

My children will one day take my place,

Teach them everything they need to know.

Grandfather left me a farm,

It was the best gift I have ever received,

It changed my life for the better,

And for that, I thank him.
