Who They Truely AreA Poem by Path FinderI was inspired to write this after reading a bookA heart of gold she claims to have A perfect angel, a princess of beauty Others see a rose among thorns Only one sees what is true…
A black heart she believes to have A wicked witch, an ugly soul Others see a wolf among sheep Only one sees what is true...
Long locks of golden blond hair, No wrinkles around her eyes in sight Being seen for what she is, Abandoned where she truly belongs.
Midnight black messy hair, Always loved a
dark twist to fairy tales Being seen for what she is, Abandoned where she truly belongs.
Caring only for beauty in the world, She hates anything that isn’t sweet For one’s selfish nature, Evil is where she belongs…
Caring about others emotions, She hates anything that is deceiving For one’s compassionate nature, Good is where she belongs...
Out of wrath and jealousy, She believes it’s her birthright To be something she could never reach Throws herself and life itself away.
Out of kindness and love, She believes her friend is still there Risks herself to save that one friend Throws herself and life itself away.
Now in tears, crying over death of someone true, They believed in her, believed she could make herself right, You can never change what’s in someone’s soul, So she will live as a villain, because her friend believed in her.
In soul and spirit, watching over her friend, As happy as can be, for finally her friend realized You can never change what’s in someone’s soul, They are finally true to themselves. © 2013 Path FinderAuthor's Note
