Round n' round

Round n' round

A Poem by Jim Falcon

I was staring at the sky
when suddenly,
I was above;
the clouds became seas.
Whoa!
I looked around to see:
A little carrot vanished,
making way for a rabbit.
The earth twisted
and turned into a worm,
which blew up into a cabbage:
it was orange and warm.
The moon became a star,
and love grew up into war.
That night, sun-dried blood
gave birth to clay, which
sucked on the bones
and rolled into giant stones.
The stones rolled downhill
until they reached the river.
They moved in, and water moved out
The seas became clouds,
and the world turned around!
