PainA Poem by Brittney Maxwell about heartbreak and pain Pain Throbbing pains within my chest the heavy breathing of my breast, O' why cause such pain! Thy tears have shed down my face call me dead, my saving grace, O' why cause this pain! Leave me barren on thy floor Do not return, nevermore Oh why cause thy pain! One lifeless breath, left my soul No more heartbreak left to toll Thy pain is now deceased. But haunted thoughts will crash your mind, gripping your heart, tightly bind. Thy pain now lives inside.
