Chapter 2

Chapter 2

A Poem by Brandon Mathis

Stay awake

Just for the next day

And when you can’t

And when you find you on way

Just turn the page

To feel a new change

This is chapter two

Think about everything you’ve been through

Everyone you know hates you

You had no choice

So you have to hate them too

No more being accused

No more being abuse

Cause this the end of chapter two

To you I say good-bye

It could be that I don’t want to save your life

The lights are burning bright

Pouring sweat into my eyes

I’m still awake but I’m now blind

Pierce my skin with your needles

Open up my brain and plant your seeds

I will never notice, it seems

But my nose starts to bleed

I close my eyes

And just pray that I won’t die
