Open up your eyes

Take a look back four years ago

There was something special

About the way you’d smile

And no other drug but life

Was the world you called your high

Now you hide between your eyes and lies

 

Take another look at this world

Sometimes it can make you hurt

But that is how we learn to heal

And slowly begin to feel

So separate what you think of reality

And come back to what is real

 

You have to get up

To realize how much

You have had enough

When there’s men and woman

Their shedding their blood

Just for us

A sacrifice I will never understand

So for today

I will be as strong as I can

 

I know that I can just go

I can’t leave them trapped all alone

As I scream for help

This day has never felt more like hell

So show me how

How I can make it right

When I’m completely on my own

 

I have made many regrets

So I ask myself how many do I have left

Before my wife and kid find me dead

I think it’s about time to get some rest

I promise that I will do my best

so i say here we go and than press reset
