Everyday

Everyday

A Poem by Brandon Mathis

Living in misery

Looking for the right mystery

This can never be

 Released from my memories

But it seems so serious

Faith has fallen

Falling but I’m guiding the weak

Even if I might amount to nothing

At least I can say that I did something                                             don’t want to have to throw it all away

I lived like this since the first day

But somehow

I can broke these chains

Show me how to get out

You know that I am in pain

When you can see it in my eyes

There wasn’t much to gain

This isn’t another lie

When will you trust in me?

When will you believe in me?

Well I guess that it’s just my fate

That I get to live in this misery every day

I don’t want to fall

While you laugh in the face

But let me ask you this

Who are you going to call?

When I’m gone

And this is finally the end
